ApplyWise stores your candidate profile, extracted resume text, resume file, saved application records, approved reusable answers, and beta start date in Chrome extension local storage on your device. The beta does not transmit this information to ApplyWise servers.

Page access

ApplyWise accesses the active page only after you click Analyze page, Fill current form, Remember answers, or Check application. After you click Fill, it keeps filling new steps of that application in the same tab for up to 15 minutes, never refilling a field you cleared. During that time, answers you type yourself into that application are saved to answer memory on your device so ApplyWise can suggest them for similar questions later; suggestions are only filled when you click Use. You can clear saved answers at any time from the extension. It does not run background crawlers or submit applications.

Website beta signup

If you join through the website, Ranuvo receives your name, email address, job-search stage, and, if you choose to answer, where you apply most, whether you need visa sponsorship, and any feedback you provide, and a record of your consent and signup time. These details are used to manage beta participation and contact you about access and feedback. Signup details are separate from the profile and resume stored locally by the extension. The website sends signup details to Ranuvo's configured collection service. Do not include resumes or sensitive application information in the signup form. To withdraw consent or request deletion of your signup details, contact Ranuvo.

Sensitive fields

ApplyWise excludes passwords, CAPTCHA responses, social security numbers, birth dates, demographic data, disability information, veteran status, and salary fields from answer memory.

Control and deletion

You can export tracker data from the extension. Removing the extension normally removes its locally stored data. A future cloud-sync version will require a new consent flow and updated policy before activation.
